The Crater Lake-Klamath Regional Airport and the city could get some relief during what continues to be a tough year.

Klamath Falls City Council voted unanimously Monday night to apply for a Critical Oregon Airport Relief, or COAR, grant to help pay for repairs needed at the site’s Taxiway G. The grant is for $150,000 and comes from a series of fuel tax programs.
