PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Protesters once again returned to the Penumbra Kelly Building in Southeast Portland Monday night blocking traffic on East Burnside in both directions, but no arrests were made and the gathering dispersed around 12:30 a.m.

The Kelly Building, which houses offices for both the Portland Police Bureau and the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, has been the frequent site of demonstrations in the past.

Via Twitter, police warned people not to go onto the property or they could face “arrest, citation, or the use of crowd control agents…”

But at 12:38 a.m., PPB tweeted: “The gathering has left and East Burnside Street is reopened again. In the interest in de-escalation, and because there was no immediate life safety threat, officers remained back. No arrests made, no munitions deployed. Thank you to all who remained peaceful.’
