Oregon has yet to distribute millions in federal rent assistance; an end of year deadline looms

The Oregon Legislature’s Emergency Board allocated $60 million in federal coronavirus relief funds to provide rental assistance to struggling Oregonians in early June.

Four months later, the majority of that money has yet to reach renters in need.
