Commissioner pledges a no-money campaign

By Oregon Campaign Watch,

Clackamas County Commissioner Mark Shull is running for re-election with a pledge of not raising a penny for campaigning, or as The Oregonian quotes “declining to raise any money for his campaign.” This will likely be a first for a sitting incumbent to run a campaign without money. Commissioner Shull does not want to be connected or influenced by money as part of a effort to campaign in a new way.

Will it work?

Stay tuned.
