Volunteers needed for the fun Taxpayers Association booth at the Oregon State Fair. We’re doing a patriotic theme to celebrate the upcoming America’s 250th Birthday.
We will have brochures for visitors to take and a fun sign-up petition for booth visitors to sign. We encourage patriotic attire/symbols.
All booth volunteers get free passes to the Fair, so you can help us at the booth and enjoy the Fair at the same time.
Our booth is inside the best location (Jackman-Long building) which comes with full air conditioning.
We need people to fill at least one 3.5 hour shift at the booth. One shift is all we ask. If you can do another shift, that is fantastic! The link at the bottom will take you to an invite webpage where you can choose what shift works for you.
We will schedule at least two or more people at the booth at all times, so even if you plan to come alone you will be among fellow patriots at the booth. The booth cannot be left unattended.
Please note: other political material/messages (on t-shirts, buttons, flyers, hand-outs) outside of our booth are not allowed as this is a very micro-focused event with very limited time. Please respect this polite request.

WHEN: The Fair runs from Friday August 22nd to Monday September 1st.

WHY: We are introducing people to the Taxpayer Association as we celebrate America’s upcoming 250th Birthday.
